COMPLAINT DETAILS (from renter)

For over a year there have been various leaks in my apartment. The first occured in the upper storage area when the shower from the apartment above leaked and damaged personal property. There was more damage caused by a leak near the pipes which go through my apartment to the ones above. The ceiling there is damaged as is the wall which is beginning to bulge. The worst damage is above the antique fireplace. For the past three months water has been dripping and pouring down. When I brought this to Lyn Loheed's attention, she casually glanced up at it and said it was the rain and there was nothing she could do. It wasn't raining that day and the leak occurs every day whether rain or shine. Then she started saying there was an agreement we made with each other. There is not nor has there ever been an agreement between the two of us where she collects my rent but doesn't fix anything. After three complaints, her husband Hugh started to come over. He said something should be done about it but he didn't deal with the apartments that was his wife's business. He brought over a plastic tub to sit on the fireplace to collect the water and that was it. As I write this, the water is dripping into the tub and has been for the past four hours. The ceiling is threatening to fall in two spot and the whole wall is streaked with water stains.
