COMPLAINT DETAILS (from renter)

We (the occupants) recently received a three day notice to pay or quit on 10/7/11 in regards to fees incurred for treatment of a still ongoing bed bug infestation. We still have yet to receive any invoice for the treatments. In the notice to pay or quit that we received, the charges are listed as delinquent rent. We are aware that bed bugs are classified as parasites and that this is considered a breach of the implied habitability warranty. Shortly prior to the first inspection we received a copy of an addendum to our lease that states that we "may be required to pay all reasonable costs of cleaning and pest control treatments incurred to us [the property managers] to treat your dwelling unit for bed bugs".
