I am renting my home. I have Maintence men come in and out of my house. Sometimes when not even expected. who said they couldnt of brought the bed bugs in my home. I recieved a eviction notice not only for my rental amount but for the bed bug extermination fees as well. I received a letter on April 5 stating that I did not properly follow up on postal treatments, which i disagree. I spoke with both men before they treated the house to make sure everything was good. The first time I was not prepared, so i will accept paying that 60 dollar fee. but i had a emergency that day my daughter had surgery so I couldn prepare like i should. but everytime after i followed everything the way it should of been. I have not seen any more bugs, but i dont feel like i should be responsible for the cost because I am renting, and Im not the cause of the infestation. Also I have a mice infestation as well. they came out inspected the house 2 weeks ago and nothing still has been done. I dont think its right for my eviction letter to have the miscillaneous charges.
