COMPLAINT : Bed-bug Infestation
Fair Resolution according to renter :
  1. Landlord/Management exterminates bedbugs completely, at his cost, including follow-up visits from extermination professionals.
  2. Landlord/Management reimburses all cost accrued for laundering all clothing, and linen.
  3. Landlord/Management pro-rates rent, for time the apartment has remained un-inhabitable.
  4. Landlord/Management reimburses cost for all furniture lost, due to bedbugs.

COMPLAINT DETAILS (from renter)

My mother and father, live in an apartment in the same building as us, they are one entrance down. A couple months ago, the property management treated their (my parents') neighbor for bed-bugs, and did NOT treat the whole building, and never notified my parents, or any other tenants that there were bedbugs in the building. My parents ended up getting the bedbugs, in which they had to be treated as well. Costing them a great amount of money for laundering clothing, bedding, and all other linens. Mr. Trapp, and Mr. Peters, notified my parents, weeks after there was a problem with the bedbugs. My family and I, frequent my parents' apartment regularly, and apparently came into contact with the bedbugs. We have seen numerous bedbugs in our apartment, and now, we cannot stay in our apartment, for fear of being constantly bitten, and possibly spreading the bugs elsewhere. We had to strip naked and search ourselves to be able to live with family, and needless to say, this is extremely frustrating, and embarrassing.
