COMPLAINT DETAILS (from renter)

The majority of the security deposit was not refunded. Charges were unrealistic and unfair. Specifically the following Cleaning fee of 12 hours at $25 per hour. The studio apartment was cleaned and left cleaner than it was on move in date. Unrealistic charge and a receipt was not provided. It could not take 12 hours to clean a one room studio apartment that was already clean. Cracked Vanity Sink: $103. The sink was cracked on move in day and discussed with Landlord's wife. No picture was taken. I imagine it is still broken. No Receipt for service was proivided. Reinspection Fee: $50 The agent is located 2 miles away from apartment Rent prorated for 3 days - $72. Keys were returned prior to the first of the month and since all of the above charges are fabricated the rent is too. Additionally proof that the security deposit was originally placed into a separate account and not co-mingled.
