COMPLAINT DETAILS (from renter)

I informed the Manager Shelly that I had discovered bedbugs in my apartment and many other people on my floor had complained to me they had bedbugs as well. The Manager Shelly said she would talk to the landlord about paying for the cost but I would have to reimburse him for the total cost of my apartment's treatment. I explained to Shelly I have never had bedbugs at any of my previous apartments and that I was not responsible for the cost if many other people have had the same issue in the the Bay Plaza Apartments in the past. Shelly had just had someone in the building treated so the exterminator that was on site. So, Glen from Bartz, checked my apartment #215 and discovered eggs as well as blood spots. We informed Shelly and she told me she wasn't going to send a dog to make certain of our discovery until I agreed to the payment of the extermination and treatment of the bedbugs ahead of time. I told her I would not agree to her terms due to the fact that other people in the complex had bedbugs in the past as well as the day I informed her and I did not feel responsible for the cost.
