When I moved in there was an uncontrolled bee hive located outside the kitchen and bathroom window. Starting 3/2 I found 2-6 dead and dying bees inside the apartment every day (point of entry unknown).

This painful swelling happened following insect bites I received during the night of 3/9 and again on 3/17. I was treated at an urgent care clinic for related complications on 3/11.

COMPLAINT DETAILS (from renter)

On 3/1/13 I was rented a unit infested with bedbugs, cockroaches and bees. This caused immediate and ongoing problems that despite best efforts have not been resolved. The unit was not properly cleaned and treated for pests prior to my moving in, and I have required emergency medical attention on more than one occasion for complications related to the bites/stings. It has just come to light that the biting culprits are bedbugs and that it was a preexisting condition of the apartment. Due to this, I have ceased my residence in this unit and am asking for an expeditious resolution, as I am not willing to risk my health any further. I have lost a great deal of time, money, and sleep in this matter, and it is my sincere hope that management is earnest about eradicating the problem before renting this unit out again.

You may verify that the letter was picked up from USPS today since signature was required. We request an extension until we may get ahold of your representatives by phone. Our attempts to speak with someone were to no avail, since phone system rings, and does not go to representative, or even voicemail. Thank you.
