COMPLAINT DETAILS (from renter)

Upon arrival, the old tenants were still occupying our residence and informed us there were bed bugs in the apt. Upon inspection, the landlord confirmed and said he would bomb the apt and we could move into it in a few hours. The landlord and I both called exterminators to confirm that the residence would not be ready for weeks, as it needed to be treated aggressively. We explained to the landlord that we had no home and needed a place to live and he had no other residences. We were forced to look for another apt as my job started the next day. We were unable to find another place to live in 24 hours so we had to return home to Ohio with the Uhaul. We tried unsuccessfully to get ahold of the landlord to get our deposit refunded. He is no longer returning our calls or emails and the apt is back up on Craigslist.com for rent.
