COMPLAINT : Bed Bugs
Fair Resolution according to renter :
  1. get rid of bugs, refund the $122 I paid to go see the doctor, reimburse for RPA
  2. I stand by my proposal that the apartment complex should reimburse me for the $35 filing fee and the $122 Dr. visit. The statement made by the office manager that "she should have alerted me before going to the doctor and I, myself, could have alerted her of the problem" is a ridiculous statement.

I moved into these apartments the first week of April within a week I started noticing a rash that just kept getting worse so finally on the 23rd of April I went to the doctor to see what it was, they told me bed bugs. After I came back I looked for them and sure enough found them on the wall. I found bed bugs in my wall of my bedroom hidden in cracks and just on my wall, none on my bed so I know they werent from me plus before coming there I lived with my mom and have never seen a bed bug in my life! I wanted something done ASAP but they said tomorrow. I got a rash all over my arms, hands and some on legs didnt know what it was from after a week I decided to go to the doctor, they told me it was bed bugs. I just moved into these apartments about 3 weeks ago so of course that didnt surprise me. I dont have health insurance so it was $122 out of my pocket just like that and I do not have extra money for stuff like these I never go to the doctor becayse I cant afford it but needed to know what was causing the rash. I would like to be refunded that money since the bugs were in the apartment. I paid a $200 deposit plus a $150 pet deposit to make sure it pays for any damage after I leave I think its only fair they pay for the 'damage' Ive had as well from being there.
