My boyfriend and I have lived in this apartment for almost two years and it wasnt until just recently we came across bed bugs in our bedroom. We brought it to our landlords attention the following morning and they had someone come evaluate the situation later that day and didnt send somene to spray until a few days after the fact. Aside from all this i had a close friend who lived in a different building and she had told me about a month or two prior to all this that it was found that someone in her building had discovered bed bugs as well. After all the treatments were done now the landlord is trying to stick us with the bill claiming we were the source of the bed bugs even after i had told them its rediculous because they cant prove it was us being that weve never had problems before and that an other building had them not long ago. I dont feel there is sufficient enough evidence that the bed bugs came from us, its been about over a year and havent had issues until a couple weeks ago and i feel the landlord is responsible for the all the costs.
