COMPLAINT DETAILS (from renter)

the tenant below us complains about us walking late at night and stomping up to 10 pm .. we do try to make any noise but we have a wooden floor under the carpet it `s old and makes alot of noice , .The first letter that I have received it states that heavy stomping and music can be heard from my apartment after 10 p.m. My children and I go to bed at about 9 pm, 930pm. Not to mention that we do not own a stereo. If I do recall the engineer did took care of the floor ,also he did noticed that we don’t own an stereo or speakers. In the second letter the tenant states that heavy stomping can be heard from my apartment after 10 p.m. We know that we are not making any noises other than walking on floor. How can we defend such complaints ? The tenant who has placed these complaints never mentioned that they constantly bangs on the walls and their ceiling (my floor) any time of the day; the tenant has also knocked on my front door and threatened my son, who is a minor. Now they are not allowing us to enjoy the unit due to fear of noise complaint And yet they continue to be unreasonable. On my lease it does state I have two children whom I have the best interest of and We as a Christians do not wish to have any type of conflict with any human being but also not to let anybody bulling my kids , put fear or endanger them. In order to avoid further conflict I ask kindly if there are any vacant apartments which I can relocate to.
