Landlord is adding $5 in late fees on unpaid late fees. Rent has been fully satisfied and contract clearly states that late fees will accrue until rent has been paid. May's rent was paid on 5/6 and an additional $105 in late fees were added to the $480 rent amount. I had made arrangements with the landlord to pay the remaining $70 with June's rent. A letter was then received adding $145 in additional late fees for the $70 in unpaid late fees. This is more than twice the amount of the unpaid late fees. They assessed $5 per day for the entire month of May even though the rent was paid on 5/6. The landlord is now threatening eviction if $200 in late fees is not paid by May 31st and the $480 June rent paid by 6/1/13.
