Our apartment became infested with bedbugs, and the lease that we signed clearly states that the "Price to treat the apartment is from $350.00- $400.00" and that Oak park apartments will pay half of the cost, and the lease then states that we will be responsible for the other half, $175.00 - $200.00. The lease was signed on August 3rd, 2012. We went and told them about the bedbugs and they told us that they will schedule an appointment with the extermination agency, Two weeks later we went to inquire about the "Appointment" that they were supposed to make. Management is now telling us that the cost for bedbug treatment is $650.00, and we are required to pay half of that which is $325.00. We do not agree, The lease we signed is a legally binding agreement and management is not allowed to apply changes to it arbitrarily.
