The situation between Peak Properties and Mike Genovese has left many of the tenants at 1523-27 confused. We have been handed much paperwork from both sides of the case and have heard many different stories. We are willing to cooperate with Peak Properties, but the landlord that we have been dealing with for the last three years is extremely adamant about how this situation has not been settled. We have been told that there has been a continuance until September 18, 2013. We have been under the impression that this continuance has been in effect since August 22, 2013. Mr. Genovese has also stated that his lawyer, Arhur Czar, is the main contact for any further issues. The request to cut off all communication with Mike Genovese cannot be met at this particular time. Mr. Genovese is frequently at his place of business and also has all of our contact information. Let it be known that we are not trying to deliberately ignore communication with Peak Properties. Once again, we will cooperate with a declared owner. Brett, Eric and myself are requesting a hold on the lock change until after the 18th. We are not trying to be difficult, we are just unclear of the property manger at this time. In the mean time, we will gather paper work such as proof of payment, lease, etc. if the final hearing rules in favor of Peak Properties. I look forward to a resolution so everyone can move forward.
