The RPA has made beyond reasonable efforts to work with the Landlord / Manger to find a resolution to the complaint. Management has refused all reasonable measures to resolve this complaint. Due to the unwillingness from management , the RPA has no choice but to close this case with a negative disposition. Case Closed.

SYSTEM Oct 8, 2013 LANDLORD EXPLANATION: The Landlord shirley moreno cannot accept the tenant's resolution nor provide an alternate resolution as per the statement provided: While we understand even the cleanest person can get bed bugs, the tenant did not move into a unit with them. The first complaint of seeing 2 bed bugs, was several months after move-in, persons knowledgable about bed bugs would realize that at the rate they multiply the first sighting of them would have been closer to the move-in and not now. The tenant moved into the apartment March 14, 2013. This apartment had no history of pest control issues. The tenant came in and complained she saw 2 "bed bugs" in September 2013. It is our policy signed and dated by the tenant that should they bring bed bugs into the unit they will be responsible for the exterminination charges. Again, this was signed and agreed to by the tenant both when applying for the unit and again prior to move-in. Therefor she will have to pay for the treatment.
