I told the Landlord that I have an infestation. He told me since I have been in my apartment for a year +, and since no one else has complained of it, I have to take care of the bedbug problem. What frustrated me the most is, my landlord showed no signs of concern. He showed no sign that he even was willing to work with me and knowing that it was his property, I really expected him to be more concerned and involved. He did not even offer to call the exterminators for me, but told me to call them myself and take care of the problem. I then sent a note to maintenance telling them that at least they should inspect all the other units so as to make sure that the infestation does not go around or to make sure some other house is not having an infestation. So far they have not done it. This has been a serious night mare, having to experience bedbugs for the first time in my life.
