Iv'e lived in my apartment for 11 months and suddenly I have bed bugs. I immediately told my landlord and they had their guy come out and do an evaluation. they confirmed that I do and they are very minor and early stages. i saw the invoice it was going to cost $300 bucks. my landlord calls me and tells me about the situation and told me they will be charging me 300 plus tax and they cannot do any work until $300 is paid in full. they are not even remotely trying to assume any responsibility or even pay half of the bill. I am about to move out next month, i dont feel i should pay to have their property exterminated. also the fact that i am moving i need to save money and 300 is a big hit for me right now.
