COMPLAINT DETAILS (from renter)

June 9th a constant banging that lasted from 9 am to 3 pm. A refurbishment of carpet caused them to disturb the peace and quiet of my family and I. June 10th they used some type of chemical upstairs that caused it to permeate my entire apartment causing a headache, nausea, blurred vision and a dry mouth in myself by just being there for an hour. It caused my Mother to use her inhaler multiple times while watching my 9 month old child. It caused nausea and a headache in my wife. I sent my 9 month old away to be with her grandmother for the night and my wife and I, if the smell does not dissipate, will stay the night in a hotel.

Renter Jul 2, 2014 172.12.67.129 1.I have been unable to speak with the owner of the property and as far as I know has no knowledge of this incident and the property manager has no authority to make any reimbursement. The response from the property manager has been inadequate as for my loss of time in my dwelling and the costs I have incurred being unable to live in my apartment. I was directed to a comment card and have sent letters to the address listed as well as e-mails. This address was 1800 E Deere Ave., Santa Ana, CA 92705.
