Within 5 days my 10 year old was in the doctors office and was told he was bitten and it turned into staph infection, oozing and itchy and now has scars. He can not stay there no longer. I was also bitten on my ankles, arms, and leg. We have never had bed bugs and have been told that there is a infestation of bed bugs in this complex by several tenants and they have been treated, but they continue to come back. These are inhabitable living conditions. My son is now scared to sleep without a light due to psychological issues. We were told to throw queen size mattresses that cost 1000.00. I believe my request is a fair request.

Renter Feb 4, 2015 107.77.75.32 I can not accept this resolution due to the fact that is not true. It is false accusations. My sons mattress did not have bedbugs before entering the apartment 101 at the meadows. I got another opinion from an outside exterminator and they found bedbugs in the carpet and only found adults but not casings or stains on the mattress in which implies it was an issue before I became a tentant at the meadows.

SYSTEM Feb 3, 2015 ALTERNATIVE RESOLUTION BY LANDLORD: The Landlord; Tracy Knippen, Stephany Bonney has offered the tenant an alternate resolution. The resolution purposed is: 1. The resident has been released from their lease and they received there deposit back. After the findings from Highlander Pest control said that the bedbugs were brought in by their mattress and Highlander also stated that there was no evidence of bedbugs prior to them moving in The mattress had a sizable gash in the side which had a few life bed bugs as well as casings. The mattress laid flush to the floor without a bedframe There was no spotting on the walls or additional casings in the carpet to indicate that bed bugs were in the unit.

Explanation: After having Highlander Pest control Company come out They found out that the bedbugs came from the mattress that were brought in by the tenants and that there was no evidence of any bedbugs in the unit they checked the window sills and the carpet and base boards. The tenant has been released from their lease and they received their deposit back.
