Landlord\'s worker unlawfully entered premises without notice on Mar 20, 2019 regarding a plumbing issue.
On April 19, 2019, I was contacted by the Owner, Michael, who asked very personal questions like what I do at the house during my personal time. I refused to answer any questions and said it be best if he emailed me. After that, he called my roommate 4-5 times trying to gouge information.
On April 21, 2019, I spotted a notice on my door stating they are doing a \"PERIOD PROPERTY INSPECTION\" on April 22, 2019 for a stated time of 8 am to 12 pm. I sent an email clarifying that periodic property inspections are not within California\'s Civil Code 1954. I was only given 30 minutes to discover the notice before the 24-hour period of advanced notice was known. When I pointed these issues out in an email, Michael claimed, by text, that it was now an emergency for flood or fire. He changed his story in an attempt to gain access to my home.
On April 22, 2019, I sent Michael and the property management company (Saturn Management) a video showing that all of our plumbing was working fine, there were no leakages and there was no threat of fire or floods. In the Apr 19 phone conversation with Michael, he claimed the pipes were clogged with non-flushable items and made no mention of any interior plumbing issues.
As far as accessing the plumbing, it is only accessible via a crawlspace located on the outsides of the house. There are no crawl spaces within the home itself.
The landlord (Saturn Management) and the Owner (Michael) have continually changed their story, probed for information and have become increasingly invasive. Their janitor of sorts (Norma) has increasingly knocked on our doors or pulled us aside for property and non-property-related discussions. In total, it is about an estimated 52 conversations/phone calls/notices/door knocks my roommate and I have received since moving in March 7, 2019.
We have never been told that our noise is an issue nor anything related. Almost all questions have been related to my personal life, my work and my time.
I feel that Saturn Management\'s and Michael\'s attempt to enter the property is personally related and nothing to do with the actual plumbing. It has been confirmed that the plumbing is fixed and working fine, that there are no emergencies and that there are no other causes for concern.
