Why is Fee Required?

Although the RPA doesn't charge to investigate and mediate your case, we do charge a minimal processing fee of $35 per complaint.

Help Cover Cost:

The Processing fee is used to help cover the cost of the program. Each case requires paperwork, database hosting/managing, phone expenses, office supplies, and the time of highly trained agents to review and mediate the complaint.

Eliminates Bogus Complaints:

Unfortunately, in the past the RPA had been inundated with false complaints from angered tenants that were only looking to cause problems for their Landlord, and thus taking away from actual concerns or complaints. The processing fee eliminates bogus complaints and ensures that more time is available for your case.

Minimal Fee:

The fee is set to be affordable to all persons regardless of economic status. Landlord/Tenant disputes can be extremely time consuming, costly, and frustrating. The RPA provides this service at a fraction of what it could cost to resolve your complaint.
