RPA Blog Participation Guidelines and Policies

Why was the Blog Created
The creation of the Rental Protection Agencies Landlord Advice Blog and the Tenant Advice Blog were to provide a free service allowing people to network both nationally and locally.  Public voice and opinions help to further the progress of the Rental Industry by helping people learn, discuss, and research topics that interest them and the industry as a whole.

How is the Blog Moderated
The blog is moderated by both users and administration.  Post that are in violation to the following guidelines will be banned from the site and their post will be removed.  Content is regularly reviewed and may be removed at the discretion of the RPA at anytime without further need for explanation.  The RPA reserves the right to ban any computer, server or IP address from the site.

User-friendly Interface
The RPA's blog is set up in a format that requires no login or email address.  This allows anonymous content to be posted and potentially exposes users to inappropriate content.  The RPA keeps private records of IP Addresses and can research users that are in violation to the guidelines set forth.

Images Can be Posted at the RPA's Discretion
Only Admin and the Panel of Experts will be allowed to upload images to blogs.   Users may submit images electronically to the RPA to request them to be added to their posts.  This established process prevents inappropriate images from being displayed to users.  Users are prohibited from placing images into their blogs, without going through our approval process.

RPA Not Responsible for Content
Regardless of the poster, the RPA doesn't validate or confirm its accuracy.  Content is provided as a public opinion and is not considered legal advice.  Any advice received from attorneys on this site should be deemed as opinion only, regardless of their claims.  It is the responsibility of the user to confirm comments or advice.
