Landlord Tenant Blog

What's a Landlord Tenant Blog?
A blog is a online community of people that frequently interact by reading, creating and responding to other peoples questions or comments.  Blogs are generally online places where people can learn about a specific subject or industry.  They RPA has created two separate blogs.  Although both deal with the rental industry, they are very different in content.  One is designed for landlords and the other is for renters.  The RPA's blogs provide additional help by providing readers with an Expert Panel that responds to posts frequently.

How Does Blogging Work?
The blogging format has allowed people to interact online even long after they log off the internet.  Instead of interacting ONLY with people that are online at the same time as you, a blog provides more advanced help by networking with people off-line too.  If you are looking for help to a specific problem or question you may find that the people online at the same time as you may not have the best answer, this is why a blog is so much more beneficial to everyone.  It will help you get more accurate tips and suggestions from people that have been in your same situation.  So how does blogging work...

1) A New Post is Created:
A post is the term used to describe new content be added to the blog.  (i.e. new topic of discussion.)  The post itself is created by one person and is usually one of three things;
             a) Question about something
             b) Suggestion / Idea
             c) Story / Experience

2) Post Uploaded Online
Once a new post has been created it is immediately uploaded online.  This allows other people online to read and review the new post.  Other people online may respond to your post by giving their opinion or suggestion.  Once online the system will actively help find people that are interested in your subject or topic by doing the following:
            a) Ping Search Engines
Server notifies search engines about new content (Google, Yahoo, MSN, etc).
This helps find people that may be interested in your post.
            b) RSS Feed to off-line users
People that request updates will see the new content once they log-on.
Off-line users will be able to provide their feedback or opinions.
            c) Saved to Related Categories
Your post will be found under categories that match your content.
People searching by topic will quickly be able to respond to your post.
            d) Other Blogs are Pinged
Other blogs related to your subject will be able to see the new content.
This helps network with other related blogs found online.

3) Post Open for Discussion
Now that the system is actively finding people that are interested in your post, it will be available for discussion.  People will now be able to help you with problems by responding to your post, or provide their opinions on the subject you posted about.  Depending on your post it can be a great way to:
            a) Get Advice
            b) Research and Develop Ideas
            c) Debate Hot Topics
            d) Vent Frustration
            e) Share Funny / Crazy Experiences
