You are not responsible for the treatment. Treatments need to take place in every apartment, every 2 weeks until there are NO bedbugs. Treatments need to be by professionals who are educated in this particular bug. They lay eggs any and everywhere so there is no nests of them, more like little colonies where they hang out after they feed on blood, usually within 3 feet of your bed. They are attracted by Co2, so if you're breathing, they will come. No discrimination and they travel through the walls, electrical sockets, and whatever crack will lead them to a host. If the landlord doesn't take care of it, the more they breed and feed, the worse it's going to get.
