Inform the landlord of the problem in writing . If he doesn’t respond download a form from the Secretary of States web site which you will find in publications listed under tenant complaint forms. 3. Fill it out and get it notarized and hand deliver it. The landlord has 5 days to respond. If the repairs are not done then it’s time to call the Health Department and register a complaint.
