i am currently renting a house in mayfield heights, ohio and am concerned that the water bill is my responsibility. is this correct?

Also- I should add that way that sewer is billed. It comes as a seperate line item with the tax bill for the house. There is one charge of 31.75 for reading of the (water)meter. And then another line that shows how many gallons of water was used, and then the rate for each 1000 gallons used, and the total for that. SO its based on usage but shown as a “tax”… It is in the signed and initialled lease that they pay sewer and water.
