When you ask how long it should take your landlord to fix and repair something, it probably depends upon the type of repair. For example if you are asking your landlord to fix something like a broken toilet; it would be expected to be fixed immediately and certaintly no longer than a couple of days.

However on the flip side, if you've complained to your apartment manager about fixing a slow running drain; well that repair could be scheduled out a week or two and still be within a reasonable timeframe.

If you have been told by apartment management that they will repair something and miss the date scheduled or never schedule the repair; you'll probably need to consider getting additional help. You can always file an official complaint through the RPA. I'm sure that would get your repair done!!
