Not sure if the previous follow-up worked, so I'm trying again... sorry if this is repeated...

As a follow-up, I found a meat thermometer and held it next to the air coming out of the AC/Heater unit set to high. The air fluctuated between 85 - low 90's. It would go up, then down, then up, then down, but seems to always be between 85 - low 90's.

I then put it next to the electric fireplace I mentioned before and it jumped over 100 very quickly.

I'm going to keep the heater running and monitor the room temp using the meat thermometer and also how it "feels".

I guess my main question is if the heater set on high blowing 85 - 90 degree air is within the landlord's responsibilities. I'm going to guess that it probably is, but it doesn't seem very efficient.

Thanks.
