(pun intended) I’ve got a train that zooms past my rental unit every 15 minutes all day. I never thought it would be this bad, but wow, is it loud. Its a bit more difficult for me to blame the landlord… I knew the tracks were there when I toured the unit. Kind of sucks! I feel your pain, good luck.

The 4 items you listed are probably a nuisance, but hardly anything that would allow you to get out of your lease early. This is one of those buyer beware renter stories. Sometimes you never know what you’ll find after moving into an apartment. There is no law that requires a landlord to disclose heater locations.
