You have the right to let your landlord fix all the damages for the accessories on your apartment. That is including the AC. If you have approached your landlord verbally, you can write a letter. In that letter, indicate all the details of your concern. A tip is you let your landlord know how inconvenient the issue is. If the letter will not be considered, then you can file a complaint with RPA. What they can do is they will try to get the resolution you would like to have.
