If you have approached your landlord verbally, you can write a letter. In that letter, indicate all the details of your concern. A tip is you let your landlord know how inconvenient the issue is. If the letter will not be considered, then you can file a complaint with RPA. What they can do is they will try to get the resolution you would like to have.
