To answer your question it would be better to have some more background information.  Your question &quot;Who pays for broken washer&quot; is really incomplete and needs clarification.  There are so many variables to this.  Here are just a few I can think of:
1)  The washer is owned by the landlord
2)  The washer is your unit 
3)  You lease the washer
4)  The washer is provided but not included in the rent
5)  The washer is leased every month
6)  The washer was sold to you by the landlord
Do you get the picture?  We need a little more info!  I&#039;ll help you, but you&#039;ve got to be willing to help yourself a little.  Give us some background info.  I&#039;ll look for your new response.]]></description>
