I had to move most of my stuff into this room because of the horrible smell in my old room. The landlord had enzyme cleaners dumped down the vents to clean them because they started stinking and the smell has persisted. I found a used tampon in one of the vents. I think someone might have broken in trying to get me to move out.

Notice the carpets, they are filthy. The prior roommates destroyed the carpet and even after the land lord had the carpets cleaned the stains persisted. Underneath this carpet the floor is awful with mold growing in spots.

COMPLAINT DETAILS (from renter)

I was aware that my roommates were going to move out and I went on vacation(Sept 5 to Sept 17 i have plane reservations to prove I was gone) while they were in the process of moving, I had no intetion of moving and planned on paying rent as usual, I was going to get new roommates. When I returned home after a week and a half. The locks were changed, the power and water was shut off. I contacted Chad the landlord immediately he told me my old roommates told him I had moved out so he had everything shoot off. He gave me the key to the apartment after a couple of weeks of calling him constently to get the key, I was having to keep the doors unlocked as to not get locked out. I offered Chad to help renovate the apartment free of charge in exchange for Rent for a couple months. I tore out the carpet and helped Paint, I told Chad I would paint yet he hired one of his maitnenance men regardless of our agreemment. For approximately a month Sept to Middle of Oct I had no water, heat or power, I had to walk to the gym around the corner to shower and have some sort of hygiene. Chad finally turned the power on after the offer for me to work in exchange for rent, all the while I have been trying to get decent roommates and assured Chad I would have roommates. However the lack of communication on the part of Chad has caused me great Stress, I never missed a rent payment for over a year, I was always on time with my portion of rent, and I expect to be treated fairly. I was told by Benjamin Olson one of the maintenance guys that another maintenance man told him no to tell me how to turn the water on in the apartment (of which is already paid) all the while it was a nightmare not having running water to use the toilet, I would have to go to the hose outside to get water. Simply I am very upset and checked on the web that Chad has filed a summons of eviction, I have tried calling him these past several weeks to see where the carpet and new flooring is at and he has never returned my calls. I have done everything in my power to make this right. Yet something needs to be done. I cannot continue to live like a dog in this disgusting apartment. Thanks
