COMPLAINT : No Air Conditioning in an $1345/mo Apt, With Small Children

  1. I would like the rent for the month of June to be pro-rated for the days we had working air, which was June 27-30.

I have dated pictures of the thermostat reaching 91+ degrees, and reciepts from us having to leave the apartment because of the heat. I asked to speak with the supervisor/owner of the complex and was refused. Instead, I was put in contact with the head of maintenance who harassed me and told me that I should have just accepted the $300 off becaus the supervisor is not going to offer us anything. I have two young children who also suffered in the heat (at the times we were home) until my husband went out and purchased a window a.c unit, on which they did offer reimbursment. I also have phone call records of the times I have called to complain about the lack of air.
