My 46 year old son is disabled due to a stroke and cannot understand speach or speak well himself. I am his legal guardian. I noticed he had a rash on his legs and found out his apartment has bed bugs. They were mostly in his sofa which he slept on most of the time. He threw it away. The landlord states he is responsible because no one else has complained. Stating they came from his sofa or he brought them in from somewhere. He only goes to doctor appointments. Hardly ever leaves his apartment unless he goes to visit his sister downstairs in apartment 14. She lives in the same unit. They should inspect her apartment to. He lived in another apartment with the same sofa for over 6 months and did not have problems. They also will not check the apartments around him. He is on Medicaid and receives $721.00 a month and cannot afford to pay over $700.00 for the treatment. What are his options?
