I contacted my apartment manager Maggie about my Air Conditioning being out. She explained to me that there was a process. The electrician needed to come inside and check the electricity, then after the assessment, he would indicate if I needed a new unit. The electrician approved the electrical unit. Management (Maggie) told me that once the owners approved the unit, it would be ordered and then installed in my apartment. The request was submitted around June 15th. I contacted management on July 19th and was informed that the AC Unit was approved and ordered and would be contacted when it arrived to be delivered. Maggie contacted me on July 20th at 11:11 am to tell me that the information I received was in error. My unit was Not approved and that when the girl sitting at her desk got around to sending it to the owner, it would be approved then ordered. I told her that this was not acceptable and asked for the number to Her manager (she didn\\\\\\\'t want to give it to me). I contacted Golden Management Services and after receiving the run around, I spoke to Teresa in the Management Complaints dept. I relayed to her my issue and she told me that my address was not on file. TheY Couldn\\\\\\\'t find my address. I asked to speak to the person above her, Raquel, and she told me the same thing then because I got angry and raised my voice (I did not use any inappropriate language) and was very angry, she hung up on me, and they refused to answer the call from my phone number. They are intentionally attempting to ignore my request. They verified if I was a tenant on the rental agreement, I am, and was told that they can\\\\\\\'t find my address. Which is impossible because I have been living here for over 13 years and I pay them my rent on-time. I am 62 years old and in California it is getting hotter and all I ask them for is an AC.
