		<description><![CDATA[The problem with your air conditioner is not the unit but the thermostat.  The compressor will continually run until it hits the desired setting.  In most cases the unit will only shut off after it is 1 degree cooler than the requested temperature.
Try setting your unit to 70 degrees instead of 68.  Since you know that the unit has gotten down to 69 degrees, it would be good to start there to determine what is going on.  If the unit runs all night again and only reaches 71 degrees, that would mean that your thermostat has a problem and will need to be replaced.
Just because the thermostat was replaced doesn&#039;t mean that the new one is without fault.  Its possible that you got a bad thermostat.]]></description>
