Quite the story. I wouldn’t worry about the medical bills too much. Your landlord should have an insurance policy that covers you and your departure. I would demand that the landlord provide you with the insurance details in order for you to get immediate assistance. If there is a problem, contact an attorney– they love these kind of cases. You should probably file a complaint with the RPA too.
