I must say that sounds like an awful situation to be renting from. As a renter you are entitled to rights and I would think that having someone live in a tent behind the house would not exactly be ehtical. Your landlord shouldn’t be stealing electricity from you, that is completely wrong!
So what to do…? Something like this, you should probably file a complaint with the RPA. At least you would be able to talk with an mediator who is much more experienced in this field than me. I would think they could come up with a solution to get your landlord to not violate your living space. Other than that, I really don’t know what to say.
