You need to check your city or municipal ordinances on the siting of manufactured homes in areas designed for single-family residential uses. Such ordinances will dictate how far the manufactured homes needs to be from your home, whether it needs to be on a permanent structure or not and so on. Basically, everything that guides the siting of a mobile home near your home should be clearly written there. I understand that you are worried about your children's welfare so it is best to speak to your landlord soon about it. If the landlord is in violation of local ordinances, you can tell the police or you can file a complaint with the RPA. Good luck!
