Even if your old lease says that you won’t get a key to your mailbox, you need to check your state tenant laws about it. I know USPS sets the rules when it comes to mails so you need to check with them. With regard to the showings, unfortunately, that’s a part of the selling process. You may request to your landlord to schedule the showings at a more convenient time for you but it’s not necessary that your landlord will follow your suggestion. Are you getting prorated rent with your landlord’s parents living with you? If nothing happens, you can file for a formal complaint. RPA has that option.
