The property clearly has a leak somewhere and needs to be fixed. Painting over wet wall will just cost you money and time. Your landlord needs to take care of the problem before it becomes a huge mold problem.

Since your landlord is brushing you off and not taking your wet walls/ mold problem serious, then you logically should move to a formal action. You can either file a complaint with the RPA: Here is a link: https://www.rentalprotectionagency.com/complaint_center_form.php Or you can hire an attorney and take him to court.

To get the problem solved, you're going to need to take further action; its your right.
