I don’t get why he wants to pull your credit report again you’ve already been renting from him for 7 months. I would think that your previous rent history should be fine. This sounds lame!

Since renting out rentals is considered a business, the government does not require the landlord to allow renters to provide their own checks. Its completely up to them how they screen.
