I forgot to mention that this is no law that regulates how you collect rents, as long as it doesn't violate any of the fair debt collection act guidelines. Placing a drop box onsite is a great idea. The RPA has an ebook on this topic that goes into depth about collecting rents. The title of it is "How to Motivate Renters to Pay rent Ontime, Everytime!" I suggest you download a copy of the book-- it will get you headed in the right direction. I'm not sure if you can buy it directly from the RPA? I got it as a free gift when I subscribed to the RPA's landlord magazine. Here's a link to their magazine page: http://www.rentalprotectionagency.com/html_landlord_renting_guide_magazine.html
Hope that helps!

I don't use rent collection services due to their long delay in reporting the rents. You are best to do it yourself.
