A lot of this will depend on your lease agreement. If your lease agreement requires you to provide a written termination of your lease with a minimum of 30 days, then the property manager can charge you the full month. But, if you have given the proper notice, then I agree they shouldn’t be able to charge you more than the 2 month termination fee. You may want to file a complaint, if you can’t get them to be fair.
