I paid the landlord by his request $600 in cash for the rest of October. I still have not received a copy of my lease or rental application. He said he will give me a copy when I pay November’s rent. On October 29 18 days in the apartment, the landlord came by to collect the rent for November. I told him I will have it on the 1st of November which was on a monday. He was very angry and said that this will not work for him and that I should not unpack and find somewhere else to live. What can I do? I only been there for 18 days and now i’m being evicted…
