Your daughter can break her lease she just needs to inform her landlord with a 30-days written notice to vacate the property and send it via certified mail. If her landlord will refuse her to vacate the rental unit she can file a complaint against him. Your daughter has two options. She can either hire a lawyer to represent her in court or she can file a complaint with a mediation company like the RPA. Whatever she choose she can get the resolution she needs. Good Luck!
