Hi Mel! Sorry to hear about your problem on repairs. Do you have any pictures of the condition of the rental unit before you moved in? Your landlord cannot deduct, withhold your security deposit and charge you for repairs if the damages made on the rental unit is normal wear and tear. If your landlord insists that you pay for the repairs that is already present on the rental unit then you can file a complaint against your landlord. You can file your complaint with the RPA. Here is the link you can use http://www.rentalprotectionagency.com/complaint_center.php?id=51dd308610038
