High Move out charges

I moved out of the apartment doing a professional cleaning and profession deep steam cleaning of apartment spending 200$. Apartment has charged me for paint, carpet, marks on countertops 400$.I wrote them a reply stating my stand and attaching the receipts of the cleaning done. Apartment replied back that i did not show them the receipts during move out inspection. They did not ask me for it at that time. The carpet was worn when i moved in marked in move-in inspection sheet. There was nothing wrong with paint but they charge me for that. There were some small marks on countertops. They have charged 200 for that.What do i do now?
