Are bed bugs enough to break a lease agreement?

I am renting an apartment and have spent the last 5 weeks attenmpting to remove bedbugs, with no success. The landlord and owner have been great and covered many of the costs associated with the ordeal; however, the bugs are still there and we are looking to move out. Does anybody know if I have the right to break the lease agreement due to unsafe living conditions?
