I AM TRYING TO FIND OUT THE CORRECT WAY TO RESOLVE AN ONGOING ISSUE WITH MY LANDLORD. I LIVE IN CANTON MASS UNDER SECTION 8 HOUSING AND I REPORTED TO MY LANDLORD, LAST WINTER I HAD A MOLD PROBLEM, WHICH HE SAID I WAS WRONG WITHOUT EVEN INSPECTING. NOW, A YEAR LATER AND SEVERAL TRIPS TO THE HOSPITAL MY YOUNGEST SON HAS ASTHMA AND THE LANDLORD REFUSES TO LET ME OUT OF THE LEASE UNLESS I SIGN A LETTER STATING I WON’T SUE HIM. LOOKING FOR A SOLUTION, THANK YOU
